The Calgary Roughnecks Won't Let Honey Badger Meme Die

The Calgary Roughnecks have replaced Derrick the Driller with a honey badger and are now searching for a name. I was inspired to make this .gif while eavesdropping on a twiversation between Graeme Perrow and Andrew McKay.

NLL Power Rankings

With many of the top teams losing (cough Buffalo and Calgary cough) and bottom teams winning (seriously, Minnesota won) we are left with a muddied pool of parity in the league with Colorado floating to the top and Washington sinking to the bottom with all of their so-called "star power." Here's what the power rankings look like after week four.

Chazz Woodson

College lacrosse is here as Team USA plays the #5 University of Denver Pioneers. Chazz Woodson of the LXM Pro Tour is known for his speed and ability to make highlight reels. In this .gif he makes a high dive starting at the back of the crease. It has to be a SportsCenter top 10.

Washington Stealth

The Washington Stealth lost on Saturday bringing them to 0-3 for their first time in team history dating all the way back to 2000 when the team was the Albany Attack. Washington has fallen, in my opinion, from elite status to the bottom with countless problems to work on. Colorado is sitting high at 4-0 this season.

Pat Campbell Ejection

Early in the Toronto Rock-Calgary Roughneck game Pat Campbell was ejected for instigating a fight which was originally started by a stick to Geoff Snider's facemask. When Campbell left the field, he was appreciated by his teammates and he acknowledged the crowd.

The Toronto coach, Troy Cordingley, was not a happy camper when he found out that his starting goalie got ejected. He obviously decided that the ref was at blame and deserved two choice words.
